The Kooks - Always Where I Need To Be mp3 ringtone

The Kooks - Always Where I Need To Be mp3 ringtone

The Kooks is a band playing alternative rock, britpop, and indie rock. It was founded in 2004 by a group of friends who were students at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. At first this indie band consisted of five members: Luke Pritchard, Hugh Harris, Paul Garred, Dan Logan, and Max Rafferty (who left the band this year). They played not very high quality indie rock mostly in pubs. But later they started playing britpop, which brought them success being a new style. Their song “Always Where I Need To Be” was included into their second album “Konk” released this year and was Number 3 in the UK Singles Chart (it’s the highest position in charts The Kooks ever occupied). “Always Where I Need To Be” will be also used as a soundtrack in the game FIFA 2009. I’ve just listened to this song - rather good rock playing ;)

CRW - I Feel Love (Breeze & Styles Remix) mp3 ringtone

CRW - I Feel Love (Breeze & Styles Remix) mp3 ringtone

A few years ago I was like crazy and was downloading all trance, house and techno I could find on the Internet (of course, not just some popular tracks, which could have been heard constantly on the radio, but trance-music of high quality). One of the best house and trance groups is CRW. It was difficult to find something about them on the Internet, and it makes such impression on me, as if CRW doesn’t exist at all. But it exists!!! “I Feel Love” is the most pupular CRW’s track. Breeze & Styles Remix is really cool thing - real dance music of high quality. And now I have CRW’s song “I Feel Love (Breeze & Styles Remix) as mp3 ringtone in my cell phone!!!

Xiaoji Chinese Sweety mp3 ringtone

Xiaoji Chinese Sweety mp3 ringtone

The most strange mp3 ringtone I’ve ever heard!!! :) I can say this without being ashemed of my words. In reality, I don’t understand this ringtone at all!!! I even can’t differenciate between words - they are not like English words ;) Chinese words are so similar, that I can only distinguish some syllables (if those things are syllables…). It’s Chinese - and I’ve never learned it in my life (and I’m not goint to now, cause that language is very difficult and too different from English). Besides, I suppose, that Xiaoji is a little girl and her voice and speech is not that clear and distinct as grown-ups have (but I’m not sure, that she is a child…). Anyway, the ringtone is very funny and merry ;)

Prince Fatty - Survival of the Fattest mp3 ringtone

Prince Fatty - Survival of the Fattest mp3 ringtone

I’ve downloaded an mp3 ringtone similar to a Jamaica reggae music sound of the early 70’s. Prince Fatty’s real name is Mike Pelanconi. He is well-known British sound engineer and record producer, who produced different bands from acid jazz to hip-hop and rock bands. There was one clothing company, which in 2005 decided to put together a line of Jamaica-style clothes and celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary (clothing company St?ssy). So, the company decided to create a limited-edition single and Mike Pelanconi was a person, who did that work. The song “Scorpio” was included into the album “Survival of the Fattest”, which was released in 2008. I have to say, that this song is a real reggae song - sounds similar to Bob Marley (but has more sax play ;) ).

Barney Irish Lullaby mp3 ringtone

Barney Irish Lullaby mp3 ringtone

It’s one of the most sweetest mp3 ringtones I’ve ever heard… “Over in Killarney many years ago, me Mither sang a song to me in tones so sweet and low. Just a simple little ditty, In her good ould Irish way, and I’d give the world if she could sing that song to me this day”. This song is sang by Barney (maybe, he is an Irish national singer or just a person, who is fond of lyllabies and national songs). I like its refrain “..too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral, hush now, don’t you cry..”. I doubt that this refrain has any sense, but it doesn’t really matters - its a song and tunes should not always mean something. I’ve read comments on one blog about this song - there are still a lot of people who remember their mothers sinsing this lullaby. It’s a sweet mp3 ringtone.

Funk Monk\'s Beach Bongo mp3 ringtone

Funk Monk's Beach Bongo mp3 ringtone

Funk Monk is quite interesting funk band, but it’s a pity, that I can’t find any useful information about this group. I’ve just got to know that Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fishbone and many other bands also originated their music-styles from funk. It turned out that almost a century ago this word - “funk” - was considered to be very rude and impolite, but later it developed in a powerful and pupular style. Of course, very often you can get confused whether some band plays funk or, for example, R&B (they have a lot of similar elements, but nowadays R&B bacame more pupular). Besides, very often hip-hop artists just copy some funk tunes. Actually, funk is a mixture of soul music, soul jazz and R&B into a very rhythmic and danceable music. I remember, when we danced break, we also used funk. Anyway, Funk Monk’s “Beach Bongo” is worth downloading. Bongo sounds great! :)

Bob Marley - Buffalo Soldier ringtone

Bob Marley - Buffalo Soldier ringtone

“..It was a Buffalo soldier in the heart of America, stolen from Africa… ” Cool rythm, real reggae voice. I’m delighted with Marley’s voice and pronunciation ;) He is known also as Robert “Bob” Nesta Marley. By the way, he was a Jamaican musician, he wrote lyrics of his songs. In the beginning of his career he played in a ska and rocksteady group ”The Teenagers”.  Then musicians changed the name of the group a few times and finally decided to name it ”The Wailing Wailers”. He was Rastafarian and because of his belief (he considered that a man should not be dismantled) he refused amputation (he had some form of melanoma, which he received in football match (according some legend). He died very young at the age of 36. Besides, he had 13 children - a really big family. This Bob Marley mp3 ringtone sounds great :)
